Privacy statement


File management
International Neuropsychologist uses an electronic storage system with in which all information relevant to the client can be found. These files are only accessible to you and the psychologist. You have the right to inspect your file. Security measures (encryption and password protection) guarantee the privacy of client data. Any papers of testing materials with client information do not contain names, but only the client code and the responses on the tests. 
All paper files are securely stored and only accessible to the psychologist. 
Please do not send me information by e-mail that you prefer be kept private. When sending me such information (such as filled out intake forms or medical/psychological reports) please use an encrypted environment and upload your document using this link

Confidentiality and professional secrecy
A psychologist has a confidentiality obligation towards third parties; this is called professional secrecy. The client must give permission to provide information to third parties. A psychologist may only break his confidentiality obligation in emergency situations, for example if people are in danger. A psychologist does not need permission if he/she wants to consult anonymously about the treatment with colleagues in an intervision. These colleagues also have a duty of confidentiality. International Neuropsychologist applies the current guidelines of the professional group.

Information transfer
If information is provided to third parties, this will only be done with your permission after you have filled out the release of information form.  

Privacy
On 25 May 2018 the General Data Processing Regulation (AVG) came into effect. The purpose of the regulation is in particular to ensure an even better protection of personal data and to guarantee the free movement of personal data within the European Union.

​This privacy policy applies to the services of International Neuropsychologist. You should be aware that International Neuropsychologist is not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and sources mentioned on this site. By using the website you agree to the Weebly privacy policy. Weebly is fully compliant with the European Union’s (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Communication
When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may save those messages. Sometimes we ask you for your personal details that are relevant to the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on secure servers of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data that we have.

Cookies
This website uses “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) to make the website function correctly. You are asked to opt out of other than the functional cookies.

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than the assessment and/or psychological  
intervention. 

Third parties
Information is not shared with third parties with the exception of the application that we use for our website (cookies), storage of test scores (anonymised) at Pearson Q-local site and your e-mail by the Doxy.me software (GDPR compliant) in the case we meet by telehelealth.
This data will only be used for the purpose of the relevant application and will not be distributed further.

Changes
This privacy statement is tailored to the use of and the possibilities on this site. Any adjustments and/or changes to this site may lead to changes in this privacy statement. It is therefore advisable to regularly consult this privacy statement.

We offer all clients the opportunity to view, change or delete all personal information that is currently provided to us.
